Local Information

Brora – Is a quiet coastal resort, but perhaps with a slight hint of industrial footings. It has been known over the years for its fishing industry, and yes, this is Scotland , so for its wonderful blend of whisky also. It has a small workman like harbour that has the ability to support small boats. Just inland from the harbour lays the main part of this small town, with its grey stone houses. A distillery was established in Brora in the early 1800's, today the Clynelish Distillery keeps the tradition alive, oh and just a mouth watering thought, try the delicious home made capaldi's ice cream. Brora is one of a large number of small Scottish coastal resorts, but with is own character, and very proud of Brora Rangers football club.
