(Most of the fish and reptile remains are found with the cement layers) - 2005
Heavy cement limestone's can be seen on the foreshore at Kintradwell. Just a few where exposed when UKF visited during 2005. These are where most of the fish and reptile remains are found.

(Shale) - 2005
Fossils can also be found within the shale exposed on the foreshore although these tend to be poorly preserved or 'crushed'.
Other rocks along the foreshore can also yield fossils such as Ammonites and Belemnites, so keep an eye open at all times as you never know what you may find.
